Parkersburg, WV (August 30, 2013) Many of you have noticed the website has a redesigned logo and a new name. As we begin our second year in business, our name will more accurately reflect our strong local heritage and will highlight what separates us from other renewable energy companies. A name or brand should accurately reflect your reputation and your focus. Pickering Energy Solutions does both.
Architects, Engineers, Electricians and planners have been working under the banner of the Pickering name for nearly 80 years from Pickering Electric Company to Davis Pickering and Pickering Associates. The name is now synonymous in the construction industry with quality project development, project management and engineering services in the industrial, institutional, and commercial industry sectors.
People in the Mid-Ohio Valley also know the Pickering name is about improvement of services through innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. In this spirit, Chip Pickering, PhD co-founded Pickering Energy Solutions; to bring advanced distributed renewable energy within reach of everyone in the region. Chip is a Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional and holds a LEED Certification for Building Design & Construction.
Additionally, Chip is a Certified Photovoltaic Installer through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). His designs and builds have a particular level of sophistication that justifies the recent honors and distinctions:
